Dear friends,
My apologies for not sending the notes last Sunday. I was away for a few days after a hectic couple of weeks and it totally slipped my mind.
We were in the Netherlands for a family party and stayed, as we often do, with my sister. Today’s picture is of the view from her apartment. She has a view of a large pond that is often frozen over in winter and then acts as an ice rink. This time of year it’s full of life with water birds swimming between the native yellow waterlilies and terns diving for fish.
