Dear friends,
The picture today is of a makeshift showerhead in the riad in Marrakesh. Many fixtures and fittings in Morocco are in copper or bronze as that is more readily available and cheap to work with. It results in even everyday items like this looking like they are hand crafted (and maybe they are?).
The picture also reminds me that water is a precious commodity and even in our part of the world we have to be careful not to use more than we need.
