The sea always gives me lots of joy whatever the weather.
Last weekend I spent on the South Coast. It was busy and it was lovely to be able to spend free time looking out at the people enjoying themselves and the wind mills in the distance, the old and the new pier and hear the gentle crashing of the waves on the beach.
There were no blue fin tuna fish in sight but it’s great to know that they have made their way back into UK waters after having been over-fished for decades.
Let us all be conscious of all other fish populations that are in danger of collapse. Did you know that rope-grown mussels filter the sea water and clean it whilst they grow to consumable proportions? The Marine Conservation Society has all the up-to-date info.
