Notes for Sunday 26 April 2026

Dear friends,

We treated ourselves to a trip to Leonardslee this week.
It was more gorgeous than I remember it ever being and it was therefore very difficult to choose today’s picture. That’s why you get two this week.

Like everything else the flowering period of rhododendrons and azaleas has come early this year but the steady weather has kept the flowers on the trees so the display is otherworldly. Some of the shrubs (trees?) are over 100 years old and tower against the sky. The carpet of bluebells and anemones was still in place too.
Enjoy this beautiful spring everyone and God bless,

Dineke van den Bogerd
